Industry professionals gathered at the The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham on Thursday 27th Feburary 2025 to enjoy an outstanding dinner followed by the presentation of The Menu Innovation and Development Awards (MIDAS).
A team of mystery diners and judges, with considerable experience of multi unit disciplined menu operations, had been tasked with deciding the winners in each of the 33 categories.
The MIDAS Awards winners, along with a representative from the category sponsor, enjoyed the MIDAS Networkβs five-day research and insight tour of Chicago in May 2025.
Entry & Judging Process
Direct mail campaign to all group operators to generate entries (October)
Mystery diners visit and assess each shortlisted menu concept (November to January)
Concepts will be judged based on the MIDAS judging criteria
Winners will be announced at the MIDAS Awards dinner in February
Winners and Category Sponsors attend the MIDAS US Insight Tour in May
