Each year, every MIDAS Awards Category Winner receives a place on the MIDAS Network’s Menu Insight Tour in May.
In 2026, the group headed to toronto, ontario.
The five day trip included:
• Return flight from London to Toronto
• Four nights in a top Toronto hotel
• Dinner each evening in cutting edge restaurant concepts
• Trends insights and guest speakers
• Suburb tours and exploration of regional cuisines
In May 2026, 105 foodservice professionals came together in one of North America’s most exciting culinary cities. Toronto provided the perfect backdrop for five days filled with discovery, innovation and connection. From globally inspired street food to elevated hospitality experiences, every stop on the tour showcased the creativity, energy and evolution shaping the future of foodservice.
Perhaps most importantly, the tour created an environment where manufacturers and operators could learn together, exchange ideas, and build lasting relationships beyond the day-to-day business environment. What made this year’s tour especially memorable was the spirit of collaboration within the group. Conversations continued long after venue visits ended - over shared meals, during coach journeys, and across evening gatherings - reinforcing the value of bringing the industry together in person.
CHICAGO – 2025
100 leading foodservice suppliers and operators visited the Windy City in May 2025.
A fantastic few days of restaurant visits, suburb tours, cookery demos, panel discussions and networking all informed by new and exciting US menu trends.
MIAMI – 2022-2024
Our MIDAS delegation of award winners and sponsors travelled to Miami for the annual Menu Insight Tour in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Our group visited a huge variety of fantastic menu concepts and were lucky enough to hear from some truly inspiring Miami operators and business owners on their experiences of the foodservice industry in Florida! A huge thanks to our host @chatchowtv aka Mr Miami for his guidance and insight into this melting pot of a city.
